Auto-generated Supports
The auto-generated supports are created automatically. Depending on the material used, as well as the geometry of the parts you want to print, the supports are built with optimal dimensions for your build parts.
How to Automatically Generate the Supports:
To auto-generate the supports for your model:
- Click the
icon. The dialog box opens.
- Click Generate for Selected.
→ Supports are added to the selected model.
Depending on your model, you might need to configure the supports generation settings to achieve the optimal result. Below you can find out how to build a model directly on the platform or without a baseplate.
How to Build a Model without a Baseplate:
To generate supports without a baseplate:
- Click the
icon. The dialog box opens.
- Uncheck the Baseplate checkbox.
- Click Generate for Selected.
How to Build a Model on the Platform:
To build a model on the platform without supports and baseplate:
- Click the
icon. The dialog box opens.
- Uncheck the Baseplate checkbox.
- Set Min Support Height to 0 mm.
- Click Generate for Selected.

How to Build a Lifted Model without a Baseplate:
To lift a model up to 10 mm and generate supports without a baseplate:
- Click the
icon. The dialog-box opens.
- Uncheck the Baseplate checkbox.
- Lift the part up to 10 mm by right-clicking it and holding the mouse.
- Click Generate for Selected.
